Aoi Tsubaki inherited her grandfathers ability to see spiritsand his massive debt to them! Now shes been kidnapped and taken to Kakuriyo, the spirit world, to make good on his bill. Her options: marry the head of the inn her grandfather trashed, or get eaten by demons. But Aoi isnt the type to let spirits push her around, and shes determined to redeem her grandfathers IOU on her own terms!

When staff members from rival inn Orio-ya show up at Tenjin-ya to retrieve Ginji, Aoi isnt about to let them take her friend! But her impetuous attempt at a rescue ends up with her spirited away to the Southern Lands! Now Aoi must find a way to navigate a new, hostile situation without the support of friends that shes grown so used to at Tenjin-ya.
